William Carey
lives with his wife in the Chicago area. Their child, an adult son, luckily visits frequently. Carey attended the University of Notre Dame and Washington University Law School. For decades, Carey has operated a real estate investment business with his siblings. In later years he returned to the world of language, his first love. A songwriter who recorded two albums of songs for families, Carey plays piano and guitar. Other interests include tennis, travel, reading, hiking, and tai chi.
