Submission Guidelines
& Schedule
One of the many benefits of membership is getting published on our website. Each quarter, ISPS invites a segment of the membership, designated by last name, to publish one poem and/or haiga on the website. Your poem will be linked to your bio and photo. Please review the submission schedule and guidelines below:

Membership. Poet must be a current ISPS member and submit his/her own original work.
Submission Period. For your qualifying name-range, submit ONE poem and/or haiga. Submissions will be posted for the quarter in the order of receipt. Work will not be accepted before or after the assigned submission dates.
Poem length: The maximum 50 lines include title, author name, epigraph and all blank lines.
Poem width. The maximum 60 characters include punctuation marks and spaces.
Haiga: Maximum size is 600x600 pixels.
Format. Type flush left; maximum one indent per line. Bold and italics are acceptable.
Language. Submissions must be within the confines of good taste and exclude questionable language.
Submission. Include one poem with your name in the body of an email or as an attached document (MS Word or Apple Pages). If submitting both a poem and a haiga, please send them in separate emails.
No Revisions. Be sure your poem is in final form. Revisions or replacements will not be accepted after the deadline.
