Mary Beth Bretzlauf
has lived in Waukegan almost all her life. She is the author of The Path that Beckons; Poems About the Journey. She has co-edited several anthologies with Jennifer Dotson, founder of Highland Park Poetry Press. She is also a Pushcart Nominee.
For her fiction writing, Mary Beth belongs to Zion Writers Guild, and WIP Women Writers which has been meeting every 2-3 weeks for 17 years. Mary Beth is also a member of Highland Park Poetry’s Live Events Team, A Board Member of East on Central: A Journal of Art, Poetry and Prose, ISPS North Chapter Facilitator and President of Illinois State Poetry Society.
