As a member of the California State Poetry Society, I've been enjoying browsing your state poetry site. I'm also the President of the Science Fiction Poetry Association and would like to invite your members to listen to a virtual Halloween Poetry Reading we are hosting on the SFPA website:

http://www.sfpoetry.com/halloween.html

I thought members and visitors to the ISPS website might enjoy getting in the mood for Halloween by listening to some terrific Halloween Poetry.

Regards,
Deborah P Kolodji

One book is already released and the next will be released in a couple weeks. Can I join, even though I am a published author and can I enter my poems that are publised to share with you on your site.

I really love writing poetry and am a member of the Interantional Liberary of Poetry, and was happy to run across this site. It's nice to know that there is a poetry society in Illinois. Thank you very much.

4/10/2004: Zev Davis
I saw you site. Here in Israel Voices-Israel has been active since 1972 promoting poetry in English. I don't have thier URL at my fintertips, but you can find it at most search engines. They meet in three main cities once a month with a mix of poets, some of whom are not native English speakers. I fear I have been concentriating on fiction in the last few years, but its a good way to connect to poets abroad since thei have a wide international membership. Rather that telling you what they do, which includes a very interesting anthology of poetry in English from five contintents as well as a yearly contest, both of which do not require membership to submit the work. Check the site out, you might find it a good place to place your work. Zev Davis Upper Nazareth, ISRAEL

Have a great New Year everyone and keep writing!!! Peace, Perry

I love this site

4/12/2002: Emery Campbell
Very bright and attractive site. I enjoyed the visit beaucoup. Especially admire the poetry of Glenna Holloway. Isn't she something! Have a look at our GPS [Georgia Poetry Society] site at http://pages.prodigy.net/elcampbell. Try your luck and skill at some of our contests. They may not pay as much as the Big Game lottery, but the odds of winning are MUCH BETTER! Kind regards, Emery Campbell

2/10/2002: Christine Henderson
researching for T-Zero Expandezine. What is planned for NPM in Illinois? Please reply.

12/3/2001: Ron Slough
Great web page! I'm just looking for a society to join. I live in Indiana, my aunt from Texas said that I should join with you. I'm pretty much a beginner, but I do love a good poem and it seems you've got 'em. I put you in my favorites, so I won't forget where you are, getting older you see, I have my moments of senility. Thank you for having such a nice place to come to here on the web.

2/2/2001: Tom Lynn
